['Sup, Johto. This is Clover, cross-sitting on the grass with a Pichu in her arms. She's grinning. Actually, she's been in a good mood a lot these days.]

The egg Kisa got me hatched. Isn't he cute? I named him Ion - ow! [She flinches as the Pichu accidentally gives her a tiny shock by latching onto her arm.] Watch it! [Clover frowns, but only for a moment. Doesn't take her long to be all bubbly again.]

Anyway, now all I gotta do is train him up and he'll give Falkner the shock of his life!

[Just then, a Budew waddles over to Clover, followed by a Furret clutching something in his paws. It's a four - or rather, a three-leaf clover. It probably used to have four leaves but one seemed to have been either chewed down to a stub or torn off. Clover giggles as she turns to take the...well, clover.]

That's more of a three-and-a-half-leaf-clover, you guys - aaaaah!

[And before she could finish - ladies and gentlemen, does this bright flash of light look familiar? Ion whimpers and buries his face into Clover's chest as his trainer shields her eyes and leans away, Striper the Furret steps back in surprise, and Light the Budew? Oh, right now you can't see him. Just wait a few more minutes until...]

Rose...lia?

[Silence. Ion (who scurries behind Clover), Striper and Clover are just going to staaaaaaare until...]

All riiiiiiight!

[She jumps up, but actually remembers to put Ion down before jumping up and grabbing Light's arms - OMG LIGHT HAS ARMS NOW - and dancing all over the grass. Clover twirls him around and around, laughing as Ion and Striper - who picks up the PokéGear - run off to follow them.

Light does look elated, but Clover is definitely a lot happier than he is. Well, he's...kinda getting used to...being a foot tall and HAVING ARMS but okay.]

I got marooned on a lame as heck island, but I found a boat to get me off of that and sail to Mirrorball Island.

Oh...so, you're a sailor?

Yes. I joined the marines after that. Well... I was sort of forced to. Hahah, it's a long story.

It must be fun to travel a lot.

Yeah! It is. Best part of sailing.

I've ridden a ship. Driving it is another story.

It's fun driving it too! Though most of them take more than one person. I used to have a crew, but like I said, they marooned me on that island and all.

I guess they forgot me. Or did it on purpose. The captain doesn't tolerate failures to execute his plans.

That's...that's terrible! Some captain he must be!

It's okay really. Kuro would get really scary when he was mad or out of control. He could go really fast, but then he couldn't see what he was slashing. Getting left behind stung at first, but it gave me freedom to go back to my love of dancing!

And then I met my best friend and dance partner and joined him in the marines following the gorgeous Hina-jou! So it all worked out really well for me!

Sometimes, even really really bad things, happen for reasons that turn out way better than they could have otherwise. You know? Even like coming here. If we hadn't, we wouldn't have met our pokemon.

Actually, that's true...and if I hadn't come here, I wouldn't have met a lot of people.
