[Clover is in her room at the Goldenrod hotel. She's sitting on her bed with an Eevee beside her, looking somewhat...confused. The Delcatty (yup, we now know where much of the money Clover earns from the Center went to) at her feet is staring at the Eevee, as if wanting to ask, "WHY ARE YOU HERE." Her tail swishes and her attention returns to Clover, who just sighs and starts talking.]

I found Scoville waiting in my PC. [She pats the Eevee on the head.] And there's one other thing.

... [Clover the Delcatty cocks her head to one side. Her next unspoken question is, "WHAT OTHER THING."]

His previous trainer was Ace, and he's gone. I have no idea why he'd give me his Eevee, but...I'll keep him.

[Scoville beams and wags his tail, bracing his paws onto Clover's lap. Delcatty will just fold her paws regally and just sit Sphinx-style.]

I better start thinking of what he'll evolve into, huh? And his new name, probably. [She frowns in thought. Names are serious business.]

By the way, I checked Scoville to make sure he didn't have any tricks up his furry sleeves, and got nothin'. Twice. So I'm pretty sure he's safe.

But I really dunno why he'd leave him with me. Or maybe Scoville escaped and then found his way into my PC? Geez, I'll never understand that guy. At least he's out of our hair.

[Clover rolls her eyes, and sighs in relief. And at least he hadn't tried anything out of line.]

I'm not complaining about the Eevee, anyway. Like I said, I'm keeping him.

There's certainly no reason not to. They're quite cute, after all.

[ Miles will hold out a treat to them, making sure they all get equal amounts and don't fight over them. ]

I've worked at that Pokémon Center before. How is it?

[This is a Pikachu holding his paws out quietly with a very expectant look on his face. Clearly he intends to be first, but nobody's complaining.]

It was more interesting than I thought. [She smiles.]

I've wanted one since forever! Besides, he and I get along just fine.

Whenever works for you, Clover-san! I don't want to steal your time away if you're busy, so if we don't get the chance before it, there's always the Halloween festival. ♥

It's okay, you're not stealing my time away or anything. I just work, train my team, talk to people...yeah.

But it'd be great to see you at the festival too!

Oh, you're going to pick? I just let my Eevee evolve on her own, so I guess I can't offer much help there.

Yeah. Then maybe I'll rename him.

What'd your Eevee evolve into?

I'd choose an Espeon or a Glaceon personally, since a water type's pretty easy to find.

[Actually, after this, she will choose a Vaporeon.]

That makes sense, but...Vaporeons kinda look cool. Kinda like something out of a myth.

That's true. I guess if you like that kinda stuff, a Vaporeon would be nice.

[She grins.]

Also, it can actually melt into water or something like that. That's a neat trick.

Well, congratulations on finally acquiring one, then~ Especially one you get along with.

Well... I'm available whenever! All I'm doing lately is pretty much the same as you... Catching up with people, all that.

[ Putting down the camera to go fetch her! When he comes back and sits down, he's got an Espeon happily curled up on his lap. ]

June here evolved into an Espeon a little while ago.

She looks pretty. I have a friend who's got an Espeon too.

Espeons are pretty, but Vaporeons look like they walked straight out of a legend.

Thanks. It took him a while to get used to the fact that his trainer won't be around anymore, of course.

--- Ah, right. I remember Kisa's Vaporeon doing the same thing before.

Kisa has a Vaporeon? Neat.

Yeah, she does. Really helpful guy too, since she helped me pull out my pokémon from the water before.

[ He blinks, glances at the others for a moment, then rubs the Pikachu's head before handing him a treat. Then he'll hold out treats for the others. ]

I guess it is. It's gotten quieter since the time I worked there, so it must be less hectic.

I think Scoville's gonna be a big help to me too.

...yeah, I think I'll change his name first.
