[Clover is seated on a bench not far from the gym of Violet City. She isn't as happy and excited as she was during her last transmission, when her Roselia evolved and all. While she looks a little proud, she looks proud in a...sad way, as if her victory had cost her something. Beside her is her ever-loyal Roselia, and a Skitty is sharing the girl's lap with a Pichu.

She reaches into her left jacket pocket and pulls out a Zephyr Badge (which is mod-approved, by the waaaay~).]

I beat Falkner a few days ago. [One would think she should be celebrating since she has only been talking about this for ages, but...no. Clover manages only the faintest of smiles. Heck, he even pestered her about her Fearow, but that's a story she'll save for another day. Maybe when she's more cheerful.]

Snake really trained his Skitty well. She helped us win...so in a way, he kinda helped all of us win. [She nods, and closes her eyes briefly as if thinking of something...or possibly holding back tears? The Pichu touches her free hand, as if trying to reassure her, while the Roselia will gaze at his trainer and reach for her shoulder.]

Anyway, for those who still don't know, my brother's gone. I know he'll be okay, but I wish there was some way for me to see how he's doing, at least.

And...now that I got the badge, I'll be leaving Violet soon. That's all.

[She pockets her badge, and that's all there is. There isn't any more.]

Ah, what the heck. [Skitty!Clover puts her front paws on Clover's chest.] You probably like being named Clover anyway.

I don't think Nemesis would like anyone changing her name.

Nemesis? I'm gonna assume she's your starter.

Mm, she's been with me for as long as I've been here. She was with me when I was a part of Team Rocket, and before I ever met Miles.

You were part of Team Rocket before?

[Surprise. But she's not jumping up from her seat or anything or trying to keep you away from her bbs.]

When I first came here, I was. I hate them. [A scowl as he holds Rom tightly.]

It sounds silly, but Pokemon are important to their trainers. I couldn't live in this place without Rom, or Nemesis, or Nyx, or Io, or anyone.

I fell asleep, and it was July, and when I woke up it was October.

You fell asleep for months?!

No one could find me, and my Pidgey was gone when I woke up. It was more like I started over, but I couldn't remember going home.

Whoa...now that really sounds like a video game, except that you didn't hit any buttons.

A lot of my friends were gone. And there was a girl named Minako who is apparently... a girl version of... a friend of mine.

Oh...and how'd you know she was not just his sister or his relative or something?

Because I never met any of his relatives. I think he's like me. He's an orphan, but distant relatives take care of him.

Minako-san knew all sorts of things about me I never told anyone in SEES.

[A nod. Clover squeezes his shoulder gently before speaking, though.]

So it's kinda like an alternate version of your world...?

I guess so. A few of my friends knew her and not Minato-san.
