[Have a Clover rummaging through the stuff she's piled up on her desk, searching for one of the props she used yesterday as part of her leprechaun costume. Books, shopping bags, and her own pack are strewn all over the surface, and she's cleaning them up - and she must have accidentally switched on her gear while sifting through her stuff and setting said gear aside. A Dratini (from Layton, oh yes) is curled around her arm.

She disappears off-screen with her pack and one of the bags, but her voice is still clear as day.]

Light! I can't find my - wait, where'd you find it?

[No Roserade-type sounds. He's probably pointing or gesturing in reply, as the gear is still focused on a...somewhat more organized stack of stuff on the desk.]

Thanks, I - aaaaaah! [And yes, that was an ear-piercing shriek. Well, what do you expect from a girl with a really high voice?] What the - w-when did this happen?! G-g-gimme the gear, quick!

[A Roserade will now step into view and promptly grab the PokéGear as it continues to record. Soon it is passed to Clover, whose eyes are wide and who looks like she's clutching onto it for dear life (the Dratini is gone, probably spooked by her scream or something). Soon her expression of shock gives way to one of...excitement. Exhilaration. Amazement. In fact, she doesn't speak for a while, and lets out a laugh. And another.]

...

There...there are eggs in my pot. I think they're Eevee eggs.

[And now she's yelling into the gear, forgetting to filter this particular bit of the post to one (1) Ken Amada.]

Ken, wherever you are, get over here quick - Io and Neptune probably had eggs!

[Some time later, filtered to Seven, Lotus and Junpei]

[Clover is calmer now, but still happy as happy can be.]

You stayed out late, huh? [ He nods, amused. ]

As late as I could till my eyelids started to droop, yeah. Then I dragged myself back in at about two in the morning. Or maybe three.

What do people do so late on Halloween night?

Let's see...eat, go trick-or-treating, eat some more, dance, talk to people, wear costumes, talk to people while wearing costumes, party...

That's enough to keep people out late.

... Until three in the morning? I don't understand how you can do that.

It's easy. You lose track of time and try to do everything in one night, and then get carried away.

...and then you get too sleepy to notice that you've got eggs waitin' for you.

I'm not sure if that's a good habit, Clover.

Hey, it only happened once! I'm not gonna make a habit out of this!

[But what about Christmas?]

[Christmas means Miles will avoid the world three days later and sit in a corner. But Clover will probably party.]

...but I'll probably keep closer tabs on my team just in case they decide to give me more presents.

I don't think it will be too difficult. Eggs are pretty calm until they hatch. [Obviously, Miles.]

Still! I gotta make sure they're okay and nothin' happens to them!

Of course you have to, but their mother will do that as well. It won't be very dangerous, though.

I know that. I'm sure Io will be a good mom.

She would be. Io is amazing at that sort of thing.

I'm gonna guess this ain't her first time to be a mom.

Actually, I think this is her first time. She's been around plenty of eggs before, though.

Oh. That still counts as experience, I s'pose.

I don't see why not. She's also cared very much for Ken... her evolution is proof of that.
