...geez, where did I put my pot of gold? I must've been really sleepy after the festival...
[Have a Clover rummaging through the stuff she's piled up on her desk, searching for one of the props she used yesterday as part of her leprechaun costume. Books, shopping bags, and her own pack are strewn all over the surface, and she's cleaning them up - and she must have accidentally switched on her gear while sifting through her stuff and setting said gear aside. A Dratini (from Layton, oh yes) is curled around her arm.
She disappears off-screen with her pack and one of the bags, but her voice is still clear as day.]
Light! I can't find my - wait, where'd you find it?
[No Roserade-type sounds. He's probably pointing or gesturing in reply, as the gear is still focused on a...somewhat more organized stack of stuff on the desk.]
Thanks, I - aaaaaah! [And yes, that was an ear-piercing shriek. Well, what do you expect from a girl with a really high voice?] What the - w-when did this happen?! G-g-gimme the gear, quick!
[A Roserade will now step into view and promptly grab the PokéGear as it continues to record. Soon it is passed to Clover, whose eyes are wide and who looks like she's clutching onto it for dear life (the Dratini is gone, probably spooked by her scream or something). Soon her expression of shock gives way to one of...excitement. Exhilaration. Amazement. In fact, she doesn't speak for a while, and lets out a laugh. And another.]
...
There...there are eggs in my pot. I think they're Eevee eggs.
[And now she's yelling into the gear, forgetting to filter this particular bit of the post to one (1) Ken Amada.]
Ken, wherever you are, get over here quick - Io and Neptune probably had eggs!
[Some time later, filtered to Seven, Lotus and Junpei]
[Clover is calmer now, but still happy as happy can be.]
Want an Eevee egg? It's free, and this is a once-in-a-lifetime offer!

... A whole pot of Eevee eggs?
Date: 2011-11-04 06:56 am (UTC)Actually, there were only five. And the pot wasn't that big anyway.
...Heather, what happened?
Date: 2011-11-05 12:38 am (UTC)And, um... [She squints, scratching the back of her neck.]
... I think Cooper and me got into a catfight.
[She doesn't... sound nearly as upset about that as she should.]

From:[ video | filtered ] /fashionably late?
Date: 2011-11-05 04:59 am (UTC)Free egg? Well, I can't exactly turn down that offer, can I?
[ video | filtered ] SO FASHIONABLE, JUNPEI.
Date: 2011-11-05 05:37 am (UTC)Does that mean one of our Eevees is gonna have a new home?
[ video | filtered ] I KNOW. WHO ELSE COULD BRING LUMBERJACK SHIRTS BACK IN STYLE?
Date: 2011-11-05 11:25 pm (UTC)and normal costumes are too mainstream, anyway—]If you're sure you're willing to part with it, then yeah. I haven't had a new Pokémon for a while, so it'll be good to change things up a bit.
How many did you wind up with, anyway?
[ video | filtered ] HE IS DRESSED FOR THE WINTER. And for the freezer.
Date: 2011-11-06 10:06 am (UTC)Five. I'm keeping one, of course.
[ video | filtered ] SEE, EXCESSIVE LAYERING IS TOTALLY PRACTICAL. he is a forward-thinker.
From:[ video | filtered ] Good thing Clover never went into that freezer.
From:[ video | filtered ] At least she has a jacket?
From:[ video | filtered ] But...really short skirt...
From:[ video | filtered ] Santa survived with a flimsy tank top?
From:[ video | filtered ] True, at least he was wearing pants with that.
From:[ video | filtered ] But see, it evens out. Each would have half their body freezing.
From:[ video | filtered ] They probably also rigged the freezer so it wouldn't get too cold?
From:[ video | filtered ] That would make sense. Otherwise, bad planning on their part.
From:[ video | filtered ] I know, right? PLAN ALL THE THINGS.
From:[ video | filtered ] SEE, IT PAYS TO BE A PERFECTIONIST.
From:[ video | filtered ] THEY PROBABLY HAD GOOD GRADES IN SCHOOL AND STUFF TOO.
From:[ video | filtered ] CONSIDERING THIS GAME IS BASICALLY "8 GENIUSES AND SEVEN ON A BOAT", PROBABLY
From:[ video | filtered ] THEY HAD TIME TO TALK ABOUT STUFF LIKE SOCKS AND THESEUS' SHIPS
From:[ video | filtered ] AND JUNPEI WAS ALL "UM YEAH THAT'S NICE BUT LET'S FOCUS ON GETTING OUT OF HERE"
From:[ video | filtered ] BUT DON'T YOU WANT TO HEAR ABOUT THAT EXPERIMENT NINE YEARS AGO
From:[ video | filtered ] YES BUT CAN'T WE SKIP ALL THE RANDOM METAPHYSICAL TANGENTS THAT COME BEFORE
From:[ video | filtered ] NOPE.JPG. And we get to cheer for pipes.
From:[ video | filtered ] well, at least pipe cheers are useful and relevant. like ladder puns.
From:[ video | filtered ]
From:[ video | filtered ]
From:[ video | filtered ]
From:[ video | filtered ]
From:[ video | filtered ] ALSO ladder puns are amazing and I'm so glad they dumped some even into AAI
From:[ video | filtered ] ...WAIT there were ladder puns in AAI? How did I miss those...?
From:[ video | filtered ] There's a ladder in the last case. Examine it. =3
From:[ video | filtered ] Is it relatively early on? That case irked me a little...mainly Alba, though.
From:[ video | filtered ] That's understandable because HE WON'T STOP OBJECTING. Umm, I think it's early?
From:[ video | filtered ] I WANTED TO PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE BY THE EnD OF IT ALL.
From:[ video | filtered ] EVERYONE DID.
From:fashionably later
Date: 2011-11-06 02:04 pm (UTC)... Not again.
[His pokemon are whores.]
Because shorts and skirts are in fashion?
Date: 2011-11-06 02:07 pm (UTC)...hey, at least now you're one hundred percent sure Io is a girl?
[Nope, she never forgot the electric mice.]
totally
Date: 2011-11-06 02:09 pm (UTC)Make sure there's not any in the closet or something.
And they'll never go out of style.
Date: 2011-11-06 02:13 pm (UTC)[She glances at the pot.]
except when it snows seven feet again.
