And to your right you will see two boys running not far from...well, wherever the Pichu and the Furret are. They’re all in quite a hurry and are barely paying any attention to the lovely plant life of Route 36. If the dynamic shota duo in shorts look familiar, they most probably are. Running with Ion and Striper are Ken Amada and Miles Edgeworth.]

Pi! Pi, pi!

[They keep on going until they hear a girl’s voice, clear and strong, shouting an attack. Thaaaaaat would be Clover.]

Arietis, use Dual Chop!

[The answering cry of a Gabite can be heard, and the pained howl of...was that a Vulpix? The Furret speeds up, following the sounds.

Soon everyone enters a clearing, just in time to hear the Gabite’s roar of victory. She bares her teeth and raises her claws before a Vulpix that has obviously lost the battle (which was obviously already about to end by the time Clover and Arietis were located). It bows its head and staggers backward as if preparing to escape...but Clover steps forward beside her Gabite, Pokéball in hand. Raising it high, she makes the capture while declaring loudly and proudly:]

I’m not gonna lose you again!

[And then the Vulpix disappears in a flash of red light into the ball.

That leaves Arietis and Clover to turn to the Furret, the Pichu and the shotas who have arrived a little too late to witness the battle. She wipes the sweat from her brow and grins widely, laughing and holding up the Pokéball.]

Well, I really couldn’t! I’ve been chasin’ that Vulpix all day!

[A sheepish smile.]
